In the Closet
On Sunday night, we were watching TV when it occurred to me that I hadn’t seen Kitty Paw in a little while. I then noticed that our downstairs coat closet was partially opened. I quickly peaked around the corner to confirm my suspicions. Yep…she was in there. So, I snuck upstairs to grab my speedlight (don’t ask me why it was upstairs) and take this picture.

Although it’s just a simple snapshot, I thought it might be neat to apply Kim Klassen’s newest texture, stained linen following My Four Hens’ Desolate action (although I can’t seem to find the link to this action right now). Mouse over to see the before image.

Interestingly enough, I took a very similar image last February (2010). It’s amazing how much I’ve improved in the past year. If you’re not sure what I’m talking about…look at the catch lights in the image above vs. the pin lights in the image below. And I know that Kitty Paw looks really tiny in this image, but she hasn’t really grown much in the past year (she’s a full grown cat – 10 years old). Some days she looks like a kitten and other times she can expand to a giant.
