Steppin’ Out: Wedding Style
I don’t know about you, but I find it difficult to find the perfect party dress…on a budget. Don’t get me wrong, I love to spend money. But, I prefer to spend money on photography goodness instead of clothes. Therefore, I tend to frequent TJ Maxx, Marshalls, Steinmart and Ross (and if you live outside of the United States, they are stores that carry designer fashions at discount prices – love it!) whenever I am itching for something new.

For this past weekend’s events, I really wanted to find a new cocktail dress to wear to the rehearsal dinner on Friday and Sunday’s wedding (I jokingly said I’d wear my bridesmaid’s dress on Sunday too…but by the end of Saturday night, I couldn’t wait to take it and my shoes off). Sure I had my go-to black cocktail dress, but I’d already worn it to one of the wedding events last year. Anyways, on Thursday I ran into Marshalls – it was my last attempt to find a dress…and there it was! Oh yeah, this is definitely my new favorite party dress! Love it!
All Dressed Up!
Since ChelseyAmy and others have been joining Steppin’ Out for weekw – I thought I’d finally join in. We don’t dress up too often, so why not! Here’s the details:

Dress: Maggy London – purchased at Marshalls: $40
Earrings: Lia Sophia Chime earrings – purchased on Ebay: $10
Necklace: um…stocking stuffer from a few years ago?
Shoes (unfortunately unseen): old pink pumps that looked super hot!
Hair: yeah, I totally did that!

PS: Does anyone else hear “Barbie Girl” playing when you look at this picture…or is it just me?
