A couple of weeks ago, I participated in Branson’s, over at My Reflection of Something, Edit Me challenge! Last week turned out to be a little busy…so I wasn’t able to participate, but I had some time today…so I decided to jump in. This week, Courtney of One Mom’s Perfect Imperfections is judging and here is her photo (taken during her recent vacation) for this week:

This photo is so cute and really didn’t require much more than clean processing…but for purposes of this challenge, I wanted to step it up a notch and do something a little more creative. You may remember my introduction to Pixel Bender back in March: click HERE.
So, after doing my basic processing, I duplicated my background…applied the oil painting effect and then removed the effect from her face and body. I love the way all the colors just pop.

And, don’t forget to come back tomorrow for Week 21, Part 2 of Shoot and Edit. We’ll be talking about vignettes! Also, don’t forget to enter this week’s giveaway – a beautiful photograph from JM PhotoArt.
