Shoot and Edit: Week 26 – Red, White and Blue SOOC
Welcome to the 26th week of Shoot and Edit: Part 1. Click HERE for all the details and upcoming prompts/themes and past tutorials.

This week our theme or prompt is “Red, White and Blue” (this is just a suggestion, you can show us any SOOC shot…much like I did this week). You have until Wednesday each week to link your SOOC shot up on Jill’s blog. On Thursday, you can link up your edits with ME after following some of my tips on how to edit your shots (or just post your edit on Thursday and you can pick up my tips for next week).

As you probably noticed, I was not prepared this morning with my “red, white and blue” SOOC shot. You’d think that with the holiday weekend, I would have been more prepared…but no. In fact, just a couple of hours ago, we went out to collect my photos for this week – wouldn’t you know that since our area launched fireworks on Saturday, that they’ve already taken up all the American flags? There goes my first plan! Nonetheless, I managed to capture the American Flag. I’m not sure that there’s anything original about my shot, but here’s my SOOC:

Since I wasn’t completely impressed with my first shot (series of shots), I thought I might find some red, white and blue ribbon at home. Red/White, yes…Red/Blue, yes…Red, White and Blue…NO. Not even sure what I’ll do with this one but it has potential (right?).

I clearly have no idea what I’m going to do with either of these photos. I just did texture/text on Branson’s flag photo last week so that seems overplayed. I’m definitely open to suggestions. With that said, be sure to check out other “Red, White and Blue” SOOC shots at:
