Last weekend, I met up with a college friend and her three month old daughter, Adeline (“Addie”). This little girl was beyond beautiful – her father will definitely be fighting off the boys one day…we hope in the distant future.

I am told that Addie is full of personality. She only showed me a hint of it, but we did manage to get a few great faces out of her. And those pouty lips…love.

How about those eyes? I guess I’m not showing them off in the photo above, but they are a stunning shade of blue. Not that I don’t love my brown eyes, but blue eyes will always make me melt.

Addie’s mother really wanted a few “Mommy and Me” shots. The above moment was completely unscripted. I’ve learned when shooting portrait sessions to always keep my camera ready – you never know when that next beautiful moment will emerge.

Here are those beautiful blue eyes. We were really hoping that Addie would smile (and she did), but I can’t help but love this slightly serious shot.

There’s a couple of stories in the above shot. Top Right: we took a photo break so that Addie could eat…I kept my camera handy. As she was being burped, Addie leaned into her mother…then looked back at me – perfect! Bottom Left: I was not hired for Addie’s newborn session; however, we thought it might be kinda neat to retake the “baby and ring” shot to show how much Addie’s grown. Love it.

With that said, that’s all I’ve got for today. I’m hoping I’ll have more photos to share of Miss Addie in December…for her six month portraits! Until then, I hope everyone is having a great weekend.
