Shoot and Edit: Week 36 – Night Shots SOOC
Welcome to the 36th week of Shoot and Edit: Part 1. Click HERE for all the details and upcoming prompts/themes and past tutorials. This week our theme or prompt is “Night Shots” (this is just a suggestion, you can show us any SOOC shot…much like I did this week). You have until Wednesday each week to link your SOOC shot up on Jill’s blog. On Thursday, you can link up your edits with ME after following some of my tips on how to edit your shots (or just post your edit on Thursday and you can pick up my tips for next week).

While in Europe this past week, I attempted night photography a few times. I might have been more successful if I had a tripod, but traveling with my current tripod is difficult (it just doesn’t fold up small enough). My husband actually captured some really cool shots with his cell phone – I’ll have to share them once he uploads them. Anyways, the night shot I’ll share with you today was taken on our way back to the hotel after the most amazing meal in Paris – I believe this is St. Augustin Church. Here’s my SOOC:

I have absolutely no idea what I’ll do for my edit this week. Considering I’m in the process of catching up, it may be another easy week. Actually, for the past two days, we have been setting up my new computer. I was unable to visit anyone for Scavenger Hunt Sunday yesterday so that will be of top priority today (followed of course by Shoot and Edit visits) – I’m hoping that by tomorrow, I will be back to my usual blog hopping. I have so many pictures to show and stories to tell over the next couple of weeks; I can’t wait to start sharing…just have to get my computer back in order. Oh the joys of re-establishing your workflow! Anyways, be sure to check out other “Night” SOOC shots at:
