Shoot and Edit: Week 47 – Thanksgiving SOOC
Welcome to the 47th week of Shoot and Edit: Part 1! Click HERE for all the details and upcoming prompts/themes and past tutorials. This week our theme or prompt is “Thanksgiving” (this is just a suggestion, you can show us any SOOC shot…much like I did this week). You have until Wednesday each week to link your SOOC shot up on Jill’s blog. On Thursday, you can link up your edits with ME after following some of my tips on how to edit your shots (or just post your edit on Thursday and you can pick up my tips for next week).

As I mentioned yesterday, I have really enjoyed having a few days away from blogging. Even while I was scheduling posts, I took some time away to spend with family…it was needed (and for those of you that are still waiting email replies, I apologize for the delay). On Thanksgiving, I don’t think I picked up my camera at all, until my mom asked if I would take a few photos of her table arrangement at church – she wants to be sure she can replicate it next year. Here is one of my SOOC shots:

My photo today requires little more than my typical workflow…so perhaps we should talk about our workflows (unless you have something else in mind). With that in mind, be sure to check out other “Thanksgiving” SOOC shots at:

By the way, be sure you click on the button below for tips on becoming a “Word Verification Free” blog.

Also, did you see that I’m bringing back Memories, Dreams and Reflections? If you participated last year, then I hope you will be inspired to once again take a walk down memory lane with me and share your favorites moments from 2011. If this is your first time hearing about MDR, be sure to click over and check it out – you can sign up  now and link your photos starting January 1, 2012 (To clarify…just link up your main blog if you’re interested in participating now – then start going through your archives. On January 1, I’ll open the linky. You can post all of your photos for MDR in one post and link that post up. Make sense?) Much like Scavenger Hunt Sunday, feel free to write as much or as little about each photo.
Memories, Dreams and Reflections
Have a great Monday!
