I hope you won’t take my bloggy break out on Kitty Paw. Last year, she received over 60 Love Letters. This year, she’s only received 14 so far. However, there is still time to send in your “letters.” Click HERE for more information. And remember, there are prizes involved…really good prizes. Anyways, if you’ve participated in the Scavenger Hunt in the past, I hope this week’s items inspired you. If you’re new to the Scavenger Hunt…WELCOME! Next week’s items are sponsored by Brooke of My Real Everyday Life.
- Anyone can participate.
- You’re encouraged to take five new photos this week for the challenge. Creativity is also encouraged!
- If you get stumped, you may use one photo from your archive (although I’m not too strict about it – I do my best to take fresh shots).
- Link up here on Sunday (or Tuesday at the latest) – you can use the button above.
- Leave comments for at least five entries around yours (we have so many new participants each week, this is the only way I know to be inclusive).
- Have fun!
Without further discussion…here are my interpretations this week:
1. Love

I imagine that there was a lot of love floating around this week. My husband and I were actually able to celebrate Valentine’s Day together…on Valentine’s (typically we celebrate the weekend before or after). I bought him this card – and I mean it. I really love that he’s my best friend.
2. Duplicated

I had absolutely no idea what to do with this particular prompt, so I decided to duplicate my 16 week bump photo using a pop art effect I found online. It’s probably not the best use of the pop art effect…oh well. I guess I could have surprised you with a twin announcement, but that would have been a lie.
3. Trending

I don’t use Twitter nearly enough, so it took me a minute to even find recent trends. When I went to Tweet Stats earlier yesterday, I found that #WhitneyCNN was one of the top trends. So, I did a Twitter search and found that Whitney Houston’s funeral was being broadcast live on CNN.
4. Paper

I think someone commented yesterday that if I hadn’t already, that I pick up a copy of Baby Bargains. As it so happens, I already own a copy…and it has been a HUGE help in identifying a lot of my big ticket baby registry items. I’m also planning on going to a big consignment sale in another week or so.
5. Plastic

Most cameras contain a certain amount of plastic…however, this is not a real camera – it’s a pencil sharpener. If you look closely, you can see pencil shreddings.

Again, thank you to Brooke for so many great scavenger hunt items. If you’d like to contribute items to the list, just send me an email with your suggestions (I can better keep track of them this way). Each week, I will select one reader’s prompt list, add those items to what is currently on tap and give the selected reader a shout out on my blog during Scavenger Hunt Sunday. Happy Shooting!
