Not much to say today that I didn’t say yesterday in my 14 Week Bump Report. However, my Olive Garden itch was finally scratched…yesterday after church! Can somebody tell me why that place is ALWAYS crowded? I mean, seriously. Anyways, if you’ve participated in the Scavenger Hunt in the past, I hope this week’s items inspired you. If you’re new to the Scavenger Hunt…WELCOME! Next week’s items are sponsored by Sacha, Kat and Christian.
- Anyone can participate.
- You’re encouraged to take five new photos this week for the challenge. Creativity is also encouraged!
- If you get stumped, you may use one photo from your archive (although I’m not too strict about it – I do my best to take fresh shots).
- Link up here on Sunday (or Tuesday at the latest) – you can use the button above.
- Leave comments for at least five entries around yours (we have so many new participants each week, this is the only way I know to be inclusive).
- Have fun!
Without further discussion…here are my interpretations this week:
1. Strike a Pose

Here’s another shot from my portrait session last weekend. I seriously love running into the street to capture shots like this. I guess it helped that the road was mostly empty. If you missed the rest of the session, click HERE.
2. Footwear

In our house, I am frequently made fun of for tucking my pants into my socks. Granted…when you’re wearing leggings and boots, I think it’s appropriate. Don’t you like these striped socks?
3. Hobby

Photography is starting to become much more than a hobby (considering I’m charging a fee and collecting sales tax). On the other hand, I think blogging can still be considered a hobby…at least for a little while longer.
4. Shiny

This might be a bit of a stretch, but I figured as long as I had a lemon laying around…I might as well photograph it. If you’ve ever looked closely at a lemon, the shell is kinda shiny.
5. Color Me Green

I do love my Kitty Paw’s green eyes. In fact, I’ve always been a bit “green with envy” of anyone’s eyes who are not brown. I am really hoping my husband’s blue eyes are passed down to our children.
So, what were your interpretations of the items this week? I can’t wait to check them out. Be sure to load your pictures on your blog (or your Flickr photostream) and link up at the bottom of this post. Feel free to grab a button to display on your blog along with your scavenger hunt items. The linky will be open until Tuesday night at midnight (EST). If you didn’t participate this week, but want to participate next week, here are your items (these can also be found at the bottom of my blog each week):
- Facial Feature (Sacha’s suggestion)
- Shadow (Sacha’s suggestion)
- Spicy (Kat’s suggestion)
- Gold (Kat’s suggestion)
- Fabric (Christian’s suggestion)
Again, thank you Sacha, Kat and Christian to for so many great scavenger hunt items. If you’d like to contribute items to the list, just send me an email with your suggestions (I can better keep track of them this way). Each week, I will select one reader’s prompt list, add those items to what is currently on tap and give the selected reader a shout out on my blog during Scavenger Hunt Sunday. Happy Shooting!
