Scavenger Hunt Sunday
I thought I had something to tell you guys, but it has slipped my mine – probably a pregnancy-related brain fart. So, let’s get right to the hunt. If you’ve participated in the Scavenger Hunt in the past, I hope this week’s items inspired you. If you’re new to the Scavenger Hunt…WELCOME! Next week’s items are sponsored by Carla of Bluebird Love.
Scavenger Hunt Sunday
The rules are simple:
  1. Anyone can participate.
  2. You’re encouraged to take five new photos this week for the challenge. Creativity is also encouraged!
  3. If you get stumped, you may use one photo from your archive (although I’m not too strict about it – I do my best to take fresh shots).
  4. Link up here on Sunday (or Tuesday at the latest) – you can use the button above.
  5. Leave comments for at least five entries around yours (we have so many new participants each week, this is the only way I know to be inclusive).
  6. Have fun!
Without further discussion…here are my interpretations this week:

1. Whimsy
Little Bunny Slippers RS
I’m not sure if this counts for whimsy or not…but let’s just assume it does. This past week, my husband went to Nashville, TN on business. I think he company party was at the Grand Ol’ Opry. While he was there, he stopped by their shop…and there they were, little bunny slippers. Bunny slippers go way back in my family, so it’s only appropriate for our daughter to have a pair – even if she can’t really wear them, they’re still cute…and whimsy.

2. Create
Create RS
Months ago, I created these paper stars. I do not have the tutorial saved, but they are pretty easy to make. My husband was so kind to help me show them off.

3. Dust
Dust RS
We keep our house pretty clean, so it’s was a bit difficult to find any dust in our house. However, I found a little patch and wrote “dust” in the dust. After I took the picture, my husband walked by and noticed it. Yep, we’ll be dusting soon enough!

4. Seed or Sprout
Sprout RS
Last weekend, we planted roots, bulbs and seeds. This week, we started seeing the very first signs that they are going to bloom. Up until the other day, we were still worried that the rabbits would get to them first.

5. Swing or Drop
Swing RS
Yesterday, I made my husband go on a mission with me to find an old school swing set. We found one, but I was more intrigued by these swinging animals…whatever you call them. He remembers swinging on these bad boys when he was a little boy.

So, what were your interpretations of the items this week? I can’t wait to check them out. Be sure to load your pictures on your blog (or your Flickr photostream) and link up at the bottom of this post. Feel free to grab a button to display on your blog along with your scavenger hunt items. The linky will be open until Tuesday night at midnight (EST). If you didn’t participate this week, but want to participate next week, here are your items (these can also be found at the bottom of my blog each week), sponsored by Carla of Bluebird Love:
  1. Clouds
  2. Sun flare
  3. Seven
  4. High Angle
  5. Low Angle
Again, thank you to Carla for so many great scavenger hunt items. If you’d like to contribute items to the list, just send me an email with your suggestions (I can better keep track of them this way). Each week, I will select one reader’s prompt list, add those items to what is currently on tap and give the selected reader a shout out on my blog during Scavenger Hunt Sunday. Happy Shooting!
