Welcome to Tutorial Tuesday! Sarah of Naptime Momtog and I will be bringing you a new challenge every week, to stretch your shooting and editing skills. This week we are talking about a technical called panning. You know all those cool photos where the car or person is in focus but the background is moving? They are way cool!
I have never fully mastered this technique, but here’s one that is kinda close…taken in London last September. My goal was to capture the photographer in focus while creating blur in the background with the bicyclists. Okay…so not the best example, but I will try to find another opportunity to apply panning at some point this week. Be sure to click over to Sarah’s blog for some great tips.
