Scavenger Hunt Sunday
Welcome back to another week of Scavenger Hunt Sunday. Actually, this is the last Scavenger Hunt before Christmas AND the new year. I’ve decided to give us all a break next week…which I hope you’ll all use to prepare for the TOP 12 Photos of the Year which launches on December 28th, and Memories, Dreams and Reflections which will launch on January 1.

With that said, let’s get to the hunt. If you’ve participated in the Scavenger Hunt in the past, I hope this week’s items inspired you. If you’re new to the Scavenger Hunt…WELCOME! I will post the next Scavenger Hunt list next week so stay tuned!

The rules are simple:
  1. Anyone can participate.
  2. You’re encouraged to take five new photos this week for the challenge. Creativity is also encouraged!
  3. If you get stumped, you may use one photo from your archive (although I’m not too strict about it – I do my best to take fresh shots).
  4. Link up here on Sunday (or Tuesday at the latest) – you can use the button above.
  5. Leave comments for at least five entries around yours (with so many new participants each week, it’s the only way I know to be inclusive).
  6. Have fun!
Without further discussion…here are my interpretations this week:

1. Joy

I was still thinking about the children in Newton when I photographed my tree earlier this week. God always has a plan and while it hurts so much to imagine such little people killed in such a violent way…I know that the wonders of HIS love are incredible. Joy to the world!

2. Tangled

No one could have seen this one coming, eh? No babies were hurt in the making of this photo…no lights even touched her. That said, I love the look of a naked baby tangled in lights.

3. Silver

I thought I’d mix it up with a detail shot. You like?

4. Guilty Pleasure

One of my guiltiest pleasures as of late is eating cookies and milk at night. I’m one of those women who lost all her pregnancy weight and then some…so I’m indulging while I can get away with it. I can only imagine how skinny I’d be if I ate super healthy.

5. Angel

I’m not super pleased with the outcome of this shot, even though I do love the concept. Since I now have wings…you can expect a similar shot to come say…Valentine’s Day?

So, what were your interpretations of the items this week? Be sure to load your pictures on your blog (or your Flickr photostream) and link up at the bottom of this post. Feel free to grab a button to display on your blog along with your scavenger hunt items. The linky will be open until December 31st to allow everyone who may possibly want to participate a chance to join. If you didn’t participate this week, but want to participate next week, look for an updated list on Sunday when I announce my final call to join Memories, Dreams and Reflections.

While I’m here – can I beg for votes? I entered a Christmas card into the Paper Mama’s annual Holiday Photo Challenge. Could you vote for us? We’re #31 – just click LIKE. I think you can vote through the 23rd. Thanks!
Crying Baby Christmas

With that said, I hope you will join me for Memories, Dreams and Reflections 2012 which will launch on January 1st. If you missed my post the other day, click the button below for all the sweet details.

If you’d like to contribute items to the list, just send me an email with your suggestions (I can better keep track of them this way). Each week, I will select one reader’s prompt list, add those items to what is currently on tap and give the selected reader a shout out on my blog during Scavenger Hunt Sunday.

Happy Shooting!
