Welcome back to Wittle People Wednesday. Today’s kinda fun..it’s 12.12.12. Not that I’m doing anything fun today. I’m actually doing some part time work while my husband keeps Felicity at home. Pray for him. And I ask not because he’s not great with her…more because we have attachment issues. I’m sure she’ll grow out of it before she leaves for college…maybe?
Anyways, if this is your first time linking up, I only have two rules (and one suggestion):
1) Only share photos you took yourself.
2) Don’t steal any photos shared through this meme.
3) Suggestion: copy and paste my new button to your blog so others know you’re participating.
I should also mention that your “wittle ones” can include your own children, nieces, nephews, grandchildren and/or clients…as long as you were the one holding the camera. With that, I’ll hush and get to the photos.
Since I knew I’d be away from home for part of the week (a whole eight hours), I thought I’d squeeze in a mini Christmas photo shoot. I typically allow between 1-2 hours to take photos of my clients. My little clients last between 30-45 minutes. My goal is to capture 20 decent shots and many times…I capture way more. I say all that because my own child lasts 10 minutes. In that 10 minutes, I managed to take about 100 photos. Out of that 100, I flagged 10 as worthy of an edit. Of that 10, I actually edited 5. I’ll leave one of them for Sunday, but here’s a few of my favorite moments.
I really do love these shots. However, I’m very well aware of my limitations and fully plan to hire (or coerce) someone into taking some photos of her/us sometime this Spring.
Long gone are the days of sitting still or staying in one place while I do my thing. Now I have to entertain as I shoot. I don’t think I ever realized how difficult it was to make goofy noises or shake ring toys in order to get my own child to look at the camera. Getting an in-focus shot has never been such a challenge!
But I’m not complaining. I love this child and all her energy. I just hope I can keep up with her once she goes full mobile. I’m getting a bit tired at the thought of it.
Now that I showed you mine, it’s time for you to share photos of your wittle people. If things go well, I might even get to look at your posts. If for some reason I don’t, please don’t hold it against me.
