Scavenger Hunt Sunday
Scavenger Hunt Sunday
Welcome back to Scavenger Hunt Sunday. I hope everyone had a great week. Ours seems to have been consumed by the beginning of a little sleep training. I’ve been reading the No-Cry Sleep Solution as a basis (I just can’t let my baby cry herself to sleep…at least not right now) and it’s given me some good pointers. Truth be told, Felicity sleeps pretty well at night…at least I thought she did. I was aiming to get her to take two longer naps during the day per the book so she’d “sleep better” at night. Well, it backfired and I’ve taken a step back to evaluate how she’s napping and how I’m putting her to sleep. Not that anyone other than me cares…but it seems like something worth noting…and much more pleasant than talking about poop (which I seem to discuss quite a bit these days).

On another note – I still have not had a chance to view any of your Memories, Dreams and Reflections posts, but I promise promise promise that I will over the next month. If you haven’t had a chance to link up yet, click HERE for all the details. You have until the 20th (I think) to link up so there is definitely still time.

With that said, let’s get to the hunt. If you’ve participated in the Scavenger Hunt in the past, I hope this week’s items inspired you. If you’re new to the Scavenger Hunt…WELCOME! Next week’s Scavenger Hunt list is provided by Hootin’ Anni.

The rules are simple:
  1. Anyone can participate.
  2. You’re encouraged to take five new photos this week for the challenge. Creativity is also encouraged!
  3. If you get stumped, you may use one photo from your archive (although I’m not too strict about it – I do my best to take fresh shots).
  4. Link up here on Sunday (or Tuesday at the latest) – you can use the button above.
  5. Leave comments for at least five entries around yours (with so many new participants each week, it’s the only way I know to be inclusive).
  6. Have fun!
Without further discussion…here are my interpretations this week:

1. Outside

Getting Outside RS
Yep, I got outside this week. Creative…not so much.

2. Backside

Backside RS
Oh look, there’s Felicity’s backside.

3. Little Things

Little Spoons
We must have a gazillion of these little things.

4. A Cup of…Pear Juice!

Pear Juice in her Cup RS
I have had zero luck getting Felicity to drink from a bottle. My hope is that by adding a little bit of juice, that Felicity will like a sippy cup. Turns out that she loves pear juice. Nothing too crazy though…I mean, we’re talking an ounce of pear juice.

5. Reflect

Reflection in her Eyes RS
I stretched this one out to “reflection.” Either way, the windows are reflected in Felicity’s eyes.

So, what were your interpretations of the items this week? Be sure to load your pictures on your blog (or your Flickr photostream) and link up at the bottom of this post. Feel free to grab a button to display on your blog along with your scavenger hunt items. The linky will be open until Tuesday night at midnight (EST). If you didn’t participate this week, but want to participate next week, your items are listed below, sponsored by Hootin’ Anni.

  1. Basket
  2. Park
  3. Auto
  4. Recycle
  5. People Watching

Again, thank you to Hootin’ Anni for so many great scavenger hunt items. If you’d like to contribute items to the list, just send me an email with your suggestions (I can better keep track of them this way). Each week, I will select one reader’s prompt list, add those items to what is currently on tap and give the selected reader a shout out on my blog during Scavenger Hunt Sunday.

Happy Shooting!
