Scavenger Hunt Sunday
Scavenger Hunt Sunday
Welcome back to Scavenger Hunt Sunday. I hope everyone had a great week. You know how last week I said that I thought Felicity had a tooth coming in? Well this week, the TEETH broke through and are really coming in. I have a child with teeth!!! Unfortunately, while she’s not ubber fussy, she isn’t comfortable so I’m spending a lot of time giving her extra snuggles. This too shall pass sweetheart.

Anyways, let’s get to the hunt. If you’ve participated in the Scavenger Hunt in the past, I hope this week’s items inspired you. If you’re new to the Scavenger Hunt…WELCOME! Next week’s Scavenger Hunt list is inspired by several people – check it out at the bottom of this page.

The rules are simple:
  1. Anyone can participate.
  2. You’re encouraged to take five new photos this week for the challenge. Creativity is also encouraged!
  3. If you get stumped, you may use one photo from your archive (although I’m not too strict about it – I do my best to take fresh shots).
  4. Link up here on Sunday (or Tuesday at the latest) – you can use the button above.
  5. Leave comments for at least five entries around yours (with so many new participants each week, it’s the only way I know to be inclusive
  6. Have fun!

Without further discussion…here are my interpretations this week:

1. Hidden

Kitty Paw Hiding
My mind went blank on this prompt…so I took a photo of Kitty Paw. She’s “hiding” in this shot. Can you find her?

2. Plain

IMG_4088 RS
In this edition of Scavenger Hunt Sunday, you’ll notice that I have not included any photos of Felicity (you’ll have to check out Friday’s post for your Felicity fix). Instead, I have included a few photos from my session with Baby Bellamy on Thursday. I’m in the process of editing those pictures now for a full preview sometime next week. Stay tuned.

Oh, but I thought this might fit plain. There is absolutely nothing plain about this shot…but there is also nothing I love more than a plain baby foot. And the smell of baby…makes me want to have more. Not yet!

3. Left

IMG_4335 RS Another photo from my newborn session – I thought I’d go with “left-aligned.”

4. Fast

Night Blur RS
I pulled from my archives for this shot since I didn’t have a chance to grab a new one (although Felicity crawling might have been perfect). Here’s a street scene in Paris.

5. Peace

Another photo from my newborn session. As all babies do, Bellamy needed a little break so she and her mommy took a few moments to rock in the nursery. I could have disappeared, but this moment was much too precious to leave untouched. I love it. So peaceful.

So, what were your interpretations of the items this week? Be sure to load your pictures on your blog (or your Flickr photostream) and link up at the bottom of this post. Feel free to grab a button to display on your blog along with your scavenger hunt items. The linky will be open until Tuesday night at midnight (EST). If you didn’t participate this week, but want to participate next week, your items are listed below. As you can see, I didn’t choose one specific list, but some prompts based on some recent inspirations. Enjoy!

  1. The Small Things – inspired by Courtney Kirkland
  2. Illustration -inspired by THE Paper Mama (feel free to draw your own or photograph someone else’s…just give credit)
  3. Valentine – inspired by In the Moment With…
  4. Work of Art – inspired by Kat Eye Studio (be creative!)
  5. Window Beauty – inspired by The Mortal Muses
  6.

If you’d like to contribute items to the list, just send me an email with your suggestions (I can better keep track of them this way). Each week, I will select one reader’s prompt list, add those items to what is currently on tap and give the selected reader a shout out on my blog during Scavenger Hunt Sunday.

Happy Shooting!
