Welcome back to Scavenger Hunt Sunday. I’m preparing this post on Friday afternoon…which is pretty incredible considering that I normally wait until the very last minute (aka late Saturday night). I guess I got inspired this week…I even got outside on Wednesday for a while. It was GORGEOUS and I’m hopeful that this is a sign of moments to come in the spring. Stay tuned for more photos from our day on Wednesday.

3. If you get stumped, you may use one photo from your archive (although I’m not too strict about it – I do my best to take fresh shots).

Without further discussion…here are my interpretations this week:

1. The Small Things

Like I mentioned above, our family took a trip to the lake on Wednesday. The weather was so beautiful that I took my camera just in case I felt inspired. Well I did. Meanwhile, Felicity loved being outdoors. She especially loved scratching her nails against the wood.

2. Illustration

I thought about doing a little drawing this week, but I didn’t have quite that amount of time. However, one of my Zulily orders arrived with a cute drawing. I took it upon myself to color it in. I forgot how much I enjoy coloring.

3. Valentine

Another photo that I took at the lake the other day. The sun shining down on the water…along with a little bit of photoshop magic. Beautiful.

5. Window Beauty

I thought I’d share one more photo of baby Bellamy from my session last week. I included the black and white version of this photo in my preview post on Friday. I am such a fan of backlighting…especially when it captures moments like these. From where I’m sitting, this most definitely qualifies as window beauty.
