Welcome back to Scavenger Hunt Sunday. It’s a snowy Saturday afternoon in North Carolina as I’m writing this post. Felicity is sleeping in my lap and we’re into a Lost marathon…life is good. With any luck, I may even get to some editing once I wrap up this post – we’ll see.

The rules are simple:

1. Anyone can participate.
2. You’re encouraged to take five new photos this week for the challenge. Creativity is also encouraged!
3. If you get stumped, you may use one photo from your archive (although I’m not too strict about it – I do my best to take fresh shots).
4. Link up here on Sunday (or Tuesday at the latest) – you can use the button above.
5. Leave comments for at least five entries around yours (with so many new participants each week, it’s the only way I know to be inclusive
6. Have fun!
 

Without further discussion…here are my interpretations this week:

1. Candy

I bet I’m not the only one who uses heart candies this week.

2. Pink or Red

How about both? This is actually one of my favorite casual outfits (of Felicity’s). The t-shirt says “Sweet Like Mommy.” True statement.

3. Love

I didn’t get Felicity a lot for Valentine’s Day, but I did get this simple LOVE book. So…what did they all say? “You’re some bunny special,” “I love you a ton,” “You’re Purrfect,” “I ruff you,” and of course I love you.

4. Kisses

I went back to my last newborn session for this prompt…too many sweet hugs and kisses not to share. Love this moment!

5. Smile

This is as close as we’re going to get to a photographed smile this week. Felicity has been doing this thing lately where she pierces her lips together (obviously not seen here). I had hoped to capture one of her big grins, but it was hard enough just keeping her semi-still. I guess we’ve entered that stage of camera distaste. I do hope this passes. Either way, she’s smiling “with her eyes” here.
