Scavenger Hunt Sunday
Welcome back to Scavenger Hunt Sunday. I don’t know about you, but the weeks seem to fly by. After I get my post done on Saturday afternoon, I tend to breathe a sigh of relief and forget about posting until Tuesday evening for Wittle People Wednesday…and then again on Saturday afternoon for the Scavenger Hunt.

But enough about me, let’s get to the hunt. If you’ve participated in the Scavenger Hunt in the past, I hope this week’s items inspired you. If you’re new to the Scavenger Hunt…WELCOME! Next week’s Scavenger Hunt list is sponsored by Honey Mommy.

The rules are simple:
  1. Anyone can participate.
  2. You’re encouraged to take five new photos this week for the challenge. Creativity is also encouraged!
  3. If you get stumped, you may use one photo from your archive (although I’m not too strict about it – I do my best to take fresh shots).
  4. Link up here on Sunday (or Tuesday at the latest) – you can use the button above.
  5. Leave comments for at least five entries around yours (with so many new participants each week, it’s the only way I know to be inclusive
  6. Have fun!
  7.
Without further discussion…here are my interpretations this week:

1. Asian

Asian
I thought we might have Chinese take out one night for dinner this past week, but that was not the case. Here’s one of the places we order from though if that becomes an option in the near future. They’re pretty good.

2. Wavvy

If I don’t wet Felicity’s hair down, it has a bit of a wave to it. I should have taken a photo of her first thing in the morning – you can really see it then.

3. Draw

Meow
I tried “Draw Something” this weekend for the first time. I learned one major thing…I need an iPhone pen if I plan on doing any more drawings. But, I guess that’s the whole point…right?

4. Soft

Bunny in the Backyard RS
My sister is calling “abuse” on this shot – she seems to think I’m taking advantage of my daughter not being able to communicate how unhappy she is to be in a bunny suit. She’s right – I’m totally taking advantage of it. As a result…my child doesn’t seem to want to smile. Oh well.

5. Texture

I was going to capture Felicity in a bed of bath towels but she started crying so I pulled her out. She’s still not happy about posing for this photo.

So, what were your interpretations of the items this week? Be sure to load your pictures on your blog (or your Flickr photostream) and link up at the bottom of this post. Feel free to grab a button to display on your blog along with your scavenger hunt items. The linky will be open until Tuesday night at midnight (EST). If you didn’t participate this week, but want to participate next week, your items are listed below…sponsored by Honey Mommy. Also, this week…if you’d like, you can either ADD or REPLACE any of the below prompts with an Easter photo.

  1. Water
  2. Empty
  3. Fresh
  4. Weathered
  5. Ordinary

Thanks again Honey Mommy for a great list of items…I needed new lists. If you’d like to contribute items to the list, just send me an email with your suggestions (I can better keep track of them this way). Each week, I will select one reader’s prompt list, add those items to what is currently on tap and give the selected reader a shout out on my blog during Scavenger Hunt Sunday.

Happy Shooting!
