Without further discussion…here are my interpretations this week:

1. Outside

Even though it’s been officially spring for a couple of weeks (right?), it’s still been rather cool lately…until this weekend. It’s also been a bit rainy, but the moment it got a little sunny, Felicity and I went outside for a few minutes. She really enjoyed it and we are getting outside a lot more this next week. I can’t wait!

2. Chatterbox

In addition to moving everywhere, Felicity is also quite the chatterbox…even while at the doctor’s office. This past week, we went in for her nine month well visit. She wanted to tell our nurse practitioner all about it.

3. Comfort

I hope this photo won’t make anyone uncomfortable, but when I thought about comfort…I thought about nursing my baby. It has really been one of my favorite things to do as it relates to having a baby and I don’t plan to give it up anytime soon. Not only am I the source of food and comfort for my child, but it also brings me a lot of comfort and joy. Granted, this photo was taken months ago by my friend Casey, but the feelings are much the same.

4. In the Kitchen

There’s a song from Felicity’s Jammin’ Baby class called “Playing in the Kitchen.” I immediately thought of this song for this prompt and was sure to set up a little playtime in the kitchen this week. At this point, Felicity is a natural drummer, but she loves any kind of music (as evidence by her dancing when she hears music on the tv or radio).

5. Trees

The Bradford Pear trees are in full bloom right now. During one of Felicity’s naps, I slipped outside to capture it. So beautiful.
