It happened so fast…as if time slipped into fast forward and my sweet newborn baby became a toddler overnight. Granted, I’ve known this would happen for quite some time, but I didn’t realize it would really happen…not this fast.

Truth be told, she decided to take her first steps in the one hour I left the house to hit the gym last week. I was a tad bit upset that I missed it, but Felicity’s daddy deserves to witness a “first” moment too.

Since then, she’s been taking a few steps here and there. Yesterday, she was really taking off. I’m almost certain that by her actual birthday (June 29th), she’ll be walking fairly well. Either way, I think I officially have a toddler.

I will do my very best to capture this “walking” in action (definitely in the form of “motion” for our scavenger hunt…potentially in the form of a video – we’ll see). In the meantime, I thought I’d share one of our favorite morning activities…dishwasher water table.

I was actually looking for ways to prevent Felicity from causing harm to herself while I unloaded the dishwasher when someone mentioned that I add water to it and allow her to play. I’m a huge fan of anything that prevents another “NO” to come out of my mouth, so I gave it a try. She was an instant fan.

Since then, it’s become part of our morning routine (well…every other morning or so).

With that said, have a great day! I’ll see ya Wednesday to share a few more of our shenanigans.
