Scavenger Hunt Sunday
Scavenger Hunt Sunday
Welcome back to Scavenger Hunt Sunday and happy early Halloween. The days are moving faster and faster. I just realized that I let another week get away from me without visiting your wonderful hunts. I will try to be better, but I hope you’ll keep participating even if I don’t.

Anyways…for those of you who didn’t participate this week, but want to participate next week…next week’s list is inspired by Halloween.

The rules are simple:
  1. Anyone can participate.
  2. You’re encouraged to take five new photos this week for the challenge. Creativity is also encouraged!
  3. If you get stumped, you may use one photo from your archive (although I’m not too strict about it – I do my best to take fresh shots).
  4. Link up here on Sunday (or Tuesday at the latest) – you can use the button above.
  5. Leave comments for at least five entries around yours (with so many new participants each week, it’s the only way I know to be inclusive
  6. Have fun!

Without further discussion…here are my interpretations this week:

1. Change

Felicity Silhouette Pop Art
How about I change it up this week…and rather than post a photo of Felicity, I’ll post her silhouette to the tune of a pop art? Truth be told, I didn’t make the original silhouette – Clay Rice did. But, I did take a photo of it so I could create something a little different for this week. I probably could have done something a little more interesting than a block of colors but that’s all my time will allow for today.

2. Your Mood Today

Emory Nichols - Pumpkin Patch RS
Today, we are finally going to a pumpkin farm together as a family…so my mood is quite happy, much like Emory’s mood was the other day when Felicity and I had play group at another pumpkin farm. I actually thought we’d meet up with another friend of ours on Wednesday to do the pumpkin thing…but they are closed to the public until the weekend. Boooo

3. Dark

IMG_2103 RS
This photo isn’t really that dark, but I darkened it up for the sake of the hunt. Last weekend, we went to visit my parents. My sister wanted so much for Felicity to hang with her, but Felicity wasn’t so willing…at least until my sister pulled out her iPad. I’m pretty sure she would have sat in “Jommy’s” lap forever if I had let her.

4. Welcome

Blog Announcement
On Thursday, Felicity and I met baby Lincoln…who was just 10 days old. I don’t typically like to take Felicity along to my newborn shoots, but I didn’t have a choice. Luckily, Lincoln’s older brother, Sebastian, was more than willing to show Felicity all his toys. More to come from this shoot later in the week.

5. Depth of Field

Fall Leaves - Depth of Field RS
How about a fall foliage shot to represent depth of field. I took this shot a couple of weeks ago, but only edited it yesterday. I love love love all the fall colors.

So, what were your interpretations of the items this week? Be sure to load your pictures on your blog (or your Flickr photostream) and link up at the bottom of this post. Feel free to grab a button to display on your blog along with your scavenger hunt items. The linky will be open until Tuesday night at midnight (EST). If you didn’t participate this week, but want to participate next week, here’s your list.

  1. Dress Up
  2. Candy
  3. Pumpkin
  4. Spooky
  5. Orange

If you’d like to contribute items to the list, just send me an email with your suggestions (I can better keep track of them this way). Each week, I will select one reader’s prompt list and give the selected reader a shout out on my blog during Scavenger Hunt Sunday.

Happy Shooting!
