Scavenger Hunt Sunday
Welcome back to Scavenger Hunt Sunday. Did everyone have a great Halloween? Ready for Christmas now? I saw someone on Facebook say that they are tempted to go ahead and put up the Christmas decorations. I’m not going to lie…I kinda feel the same way but I’ll wait until we get through Thanksgiving.

Anyways…for those of you who didn’t participate this week, but want to participate next week…next week’s list aligns with Fat Mum Slim’s November Photo A Day Challenge.

The rules are simple:
  1. Anyone can participate.
  2. You’re encouraged to take five new photos this week for the challenge. Creativity is also encouraged!
  3. If you get stumped, you may use one photo from your archive (although I’m not too strict about it – I do my best to take fresh shots).
  4. Link up here on Sunday (or Tuesday at the latest) – you can use the button above.
  5. Leave comments for at least five entries around yours (with so many new participants each week, it’s the only way I know to be inclusive
  6. Have fun!
  7.
Without further discussion…here are my interpretations this week:

1. Dress Up

Trick or Treat RS
I posted photos of Felicity all dressed up yesterday so be sure to check out those photos. For the scavenger hunt though, I decided to use this picture of Felicity’s friend, Declan, walking with his mommy on Halloween night. I would have loved having this picture of me with Felicity, but she would hardly allow her daddy to put her on the ground. Maybe next year.

2. Candy

Candy RS
I don’t let Felicity eat much in the way of sweets, but I did allow her to play in the candy bowl this week. She was happy slinging candy around for a few minutes while I snapped away.

3. Pumpkin

IMG_2485 RS
Trying to get this little girl to look at the camera is a challenge right now (unless I have her dad around to help me out). After walking away from the pumpkin farm with the tiniest pumpkins known to man (slight exaggeration), I took Felicity over to the pumpkin patch to find a much larger pumpkin for our door. I thought while I was there that I’d capture her in a sea of pumpkins. Yeah…not so much. On another note, I also baked a pumpkin pound cake this week. It was delicious!

4. Spooky

Boo Daddy RS
Peek-a-BOO! My husband played a lot of peek-a-boo with Felicity this week. Not exactly spooky, but when you have a toddler in the house, things tend to stay G rated.

5. Orange

tiny pumpkin RS
Orange trick-or-treat pumpkin/bag?

So, what were your interpretations of the items this week? Be sure to load your pictures on your blog (or your Flickr photostream) and link up at the bottom of this post. Feel free to grab a button to display on your blog along with your scavenger hunt items. The linky will be open until Tuesday night at midnight (EST). If you didn’t participate this week, but want to participate next week, here’s your list.

  1. Table
  2. I Collect
  3. Music
  4. Yes!
  5. Someone I Miss

If you’d like to contribute items to the list, just send me an email with your suggestions (I can better keep track of them this way). Each week, I will select one reader’s prompt list and give the selected reader a shout out on my blog during Scavenger Hunt Sunday.

Happy Shooting!
