Welcome back to Scavenger Hunt Sunday. We had another fun and busy week. I finished editing a few client sessions in preparation for this weekend’s sessions (I had one yesterday and two today). We also had our family photos done on Friday evening with the fabulous Katelyn McKay Photography. On top of that, we had a play date with Michelle and Madeline. I’m using several of the photos from our time together for today’s hunt. But enough about me. For those of you who didn’t participate this week, but want to participate next week…next week’s list was provided by Honey Mommy.

The rules are simple:
- Anyone can participate.
- You’re encouraged to take five new photos this week for the challenge. Creativity is also encouraged!
- If you get stumped, you may use one photo from your archive (although I’m not too strict about it – I do my best to take fresh shots).
- Link up here on Sunday (or Tuesday at the latest) – you can use the button above.
- Leave comments for at least five entries around yours (with so many new participants each week, it’s the only way I know to be inclusive
- Have fun!
Without further discussion…here are my interpretations this week:
1. Table
Michelle took this shot with my CF card (I think I took a similar shot, but I don’t have those photos). Anyways, this bench is big enough to be a table for Madeline. I love how she is trying to peek under it. She’s such a cutie.
2. I Collect
I am currently in the business of collecting kisses. Photo by St. John Photography
3. Music
The next prompt shows the joyful side of being at a water fountain. Unfortunately, the sound of this particular tune isn’t nearly as sweet. After getting a bit wet (Maddie more than Felicity), we decided to move away from the fountain. Felicity DID NOT agree with this plan and immediately started crying. I can’t blame her. I pulled her away from a good time. Even the sound of music (aka me singing) did not soothe her tears. We later gave her a snack and that did the trick.
4. Yes!
I didn’t realize how much Felicity loved a water fountain. While Michelle and I were trying to capture a few head shots, the girls wandered down to the fountain. Rather than pull them away, we decided to let them play while we took some photos. Maddie would have jumped in if we would have let her. Felicity was a little more reserved. I love how this shot seems to say “are you sure we can play mom?” Yes!
5. Someone I Miss
It has been weeks since we’ve seen our sweet friends Michelle and Madeline, and I was really starting to go through a bit of withdrawal. So, we decided a play date was in order! While we were at it, you know we had to take a few photos of one another with our girls. This was one of the final moments of the day before we said goodbye.
So, what were your interpretations of the items this week? Be sure to load your pictures on your blog (or your Flickr photostream) and link up at the bottom of this post. Feel free to grab a button to display on your blog along with your scavenger hunt items. The linky will be open until Tuesday night at midnight (EST). If you didn’t participate this week, but want to participate next week, here’s your list.
- Pattern
- Sunglasses
- Round
- Looking In
- Crunchy
If you’d like to contribute items to the list, just send me an email with your suggestions (I can better keep track of them this way). Each week, I will select one reader’s prompt list and give the selected reader a shout out on my blog during Scavenger Hunt Sunday.
Happy Shooting!
