Scavenger Hunt Sunday
Welcome back to Scavenger Hunt Sunday. Before we get to today’s scavenger hunt, I wanted to remind you that you have until January 25th to join Memories, Dreams and Reflections. If you want to participate, click HERE. So far, I think I’ve visited everyone who has linked up. It’s been so fun to take a look at what you’ve been up to over the past year. In many cases, I’ve missed out on quite a lot…so I hope 2014 will be the year that I really do reconnect with all my blogging buddies.

With that said, let’s get back to the hunt. For those of you who didn’t participate this week, but want to participate next week…next week’s list is sponsored by Kara at a Spirit of Simplicity. Thanks so much Kara for giving me some fresh prompts…and for getting us away from using Fat Mum Slim each week.

The rules are simple:
  1. Anyone can participate.
  2. You’re encouraged to take five new photos this week for the challenge. Creativity is also encouraged!
  3. If you get stumped, you may use one photo from your archive (although I’m not too strict about it – I do my best to take fresh shots).
  4. Link up here on Sunday (or Tuesday at the latest) – you can use the button above.
  5. Leave comments for at least five entries around yours (with so many new participants each week, it’s the only way I know to be inclusive
  6. Have fun!

Without further discussion…here are my interpretations this week:

1. Happens Everyday

Busy Girl RS
In addition to playing with her baby dolls, Felicity loves to play in her playroom…specifically, her kitchen. The other day, a pair of shoes I ordered (thanks to my mother-in-law) arrived. I gave Felicity the box. She proceeded to treat it as a pocketbook and went shopping for groceries. To watch her mimic me is hilarious. A thank you goes out to Aunt Savannah for this fun outfit – I couldn’t get her to wear the vest.

2. Upside Down

Upside Down RS
Okay, this shot is a set up. Felicity wouldn’t dare treat her babies like this but I thought it was kinda funny. The two babies on the bottom look like they’ve been thrown in jail while the boy baby is trying to escape. When Felicity caught me doing this, she was not happy – all of the babies were quickly released.

3. Natural

7F1A0765 RS
Felicity is a natural blonde…and a natural diva. I was wearing a scarf one day this week when she managed to get it off my neck, and onto her. She walked all over the house with the scarf on. Also natural…Melissa and Doug’s products – made of natural solid wood (bottom right – thank you to Aunt Stephanie for the cute outfit…and Pam/Declan for the pounding bench).

4. Man-made

Powdered donut RS
I’m pretty sure powdered donuts are not natural – at least not 100%, so they must be man-made…but aren’t they delicious? I tried really hard to avoid giving Felicity stuff like this, but she’s reached an age where if she sees us eating something, she wants to eat it too. While it has caused me to adjust my eating habits, I have also found myself hiding so I can enjoy the simple pleasures of a hand full of m&ms and Mello Yello.

5. Looking Down

BW Pigtails RS
I think I bribed Felicity with my lens cap to get this shot. On another note, aren’t those pigtails adorable?

So, what were your interpretations of the items this week? Be sure to load your pictures on your blog (or your Flickr photostream) and link up at the bottom of this post. Feel free to grab a button to display on your blog along with your scavenger hunt items. The linky will be open until Tuesday night at midnight (EST). If you didn’t participate this week, but want to participate next week, here’s your list.

  1. Hat
  2. Antique
  3. Something You Are Comfortable With
  4. Who is there?
  5. A Door

If you’d like to contribute items to the list, just send me an email with your suggestions (I can better keep track of them this way). Each week, I will select one reader’s prompt list and give the selected reader a shout out on my blog during Scavenger Hunt Sunday.

Happy Shooting!
