Scavenger Hunt Sunday
Welcome back to Scavenger Hunt Sunday. This weekend kicks off what a lot of photographers refer to as “wedding season.” Fortunately, I don’t shoot weddings (not my thing), but that doesn’t mean that I’m not going into my busy season. Yesterday, I had a newborn session, followed by a wedding in which I worked for a catering company (still photography). Today, I will meet up with my twin clients. And for the next few months, I hope to be shooting every weekend. Yay! But enough about me. If you didn’t participate this week in my scavenger hunt, but want to participate next week…next week’s list is brought to you by…ME again!!

The rules are simple:
  1. Anyone can participate.
  2. You’re encouraged to take five new photos this week for the challenge. Creativity is also encouraged!
  3. If you get stumped, you may use one photo from your archive (although I’m not too strict about it – I do my best to take fresh shots).
  4. Link up here on Sunday (or Tuesday at the latest) – you can use the button above.
  5. Leave comments for at least five entries around yours (with so many new participants each week, it’s the only way I know to be inclusive
  6. Have fun!
  7.
Without further discussion…here are my interpretations this week:

1. On My Feet

My Feet
These are some of my favorite flats right now, made by BOBs. My sister-in-law turned me onto them. Both cute and comfy.

2. Shapes

Shapes RS
Shapes…shape sorter.

3. Little Things

Little Things RS
Last weekend, Felicity got a little um…what do you call this thing…as part of her goodie bag from her cousin’s birthday party.

4. Good

Friday morning, Felicity decided she wanted to play in the water. The only problem…we were inside and she was using our TV console as her water table. It was not as warm as I would have liked, but we went outside anyways and she had a blast. What a good…even GREAT…way to kick off the weekend. Come on Summer!

5. Egg

Egg
I hadn’t intended on this being Easter related. In fact, I initially went for a regular egg from the refrigerator. Unfortunately we didn’t have any so I reached for a sparkly egg. Felicity wanted in on the action.

So, what were your interpretations of the items this week? Be sure to load your pictures on your blog (or your Flickr photostream) and link up at the bottom of this post. Feel free to grab a button to display on your blog along with your scavenger hunt items. The linky will be open until Tuesday night at midnight (EST). If you didn’t participate this week, but want to participate next week, here’s your list:

  1. Details
  2. Precious
  3. Hungry
  4. Water
  5. Wide Angle

If you’d like to contribute items to the list, just send me an email with your suggestions (I can better keep track of them this way). Each week, I will select one reader’s prompt list and give the selected reader a shout out on my blog during Scavenger Hunt Sunday.

Happy Shooting!
