Welcome back to Scavenger Hunt Sunday. We have had such a great week. First, the Wiggles, then the beach! So much fun…and a little sunburn. With that said, I’m glad you’re here and if you didn’t participate this week in my scavenger hunt, but want to participate next week, be sure to scroll all the way down to the bottom.

The rules are simple:
- Anyone can participate.
- You’re encouraged to take five new photos this week for the challenge. Creativity is also encouraged!
- If you get stumped, you may use one photo from your archive (although I’m not too strict about it – I do my best to take fresh shots).
- Link up here on Sunday (or Tuesday at the latest) – you can use the button above.
- Leave comments for at least five entries around yours (with so many new participants each week, it’s the only way I know to be inclusive
- Have fun!
Without further discussion…here are my interpretations this week:
1. Stripes
Apparently, when it comes to beach stuff, we have lots of stripes. From our towels to Felicity’s bathing suit, there was no shortage of stripes this week. Here’s Felicity playing in the sand…and moments later (30 minutes), fast asleep.
2. Packed
Before we left this week, I made sure to take a picture of all our bags packed…well half our bags. My husband hadn’t packed yet when I took this shot.
3. Travel
Felicity had to do a little extra riding this week. We took her to see the Wiggles on Tuesday night (1.5 hours away), then drove to the beach on Wednesday afternoon. She handled it way better than we expected.
4. Too Cute
Speaking of the Wiggles, here we are before the show. I debated on whether or not to take my camera…and decided to leave it at home. When I called the venue, they said “no professional cameras,” – the website then said bags would be searched. I didn’t know how far away the parking lot would be and just didn’t want to chance it. I also decided it was more important to enjoy the show with her than to take poorly lit photos. Turns out that I could have taken my big camera and they didn’t search bags. No big deal – we had a blast!
5. Favorite
A definite favorite from our half/week at the beach. Love this little girl!
So, what were your interpretations of the items this week? Be sure to load your pictures on your blog (or your Flickr photostream) and link up at the bottom of this post. Feel free to grab a button to display on your blog along with your scavenger hunt items. The linky will be open until Tuesday night at midnight (EST). If you didn’t participate this week, but want to participate next week, here’s your list:
- 1. Window
- 2. Square
- 3. Picture in Picture
- 4. Curve
- 5. Pattern
If you’d like to contribute items to the list, just send me an email with your suggestions (I can better keep track of them this way). Each week, I will select one reader’s prompt list and give the selected reader a shout out on my blog during Scavenger Hunt Sunday.
Happy Shooting!
