Scavenger Hunt Sunday
Welcome back to Scavenger Hunt Sunday! This week, we were on Spring Break…which for us meant attempting to potty train. We’ve made a little progress but still have a long way to go. That and I have a really hard time staying at home for a whole week. I believe I read somewhere that she’ll potty train when she’s ready. I just hope that readiness is there by the time she goes to school in the fall. On another note, big things are happening for the blog. It’s due a huge makeover and we started that process the other night. Stay tuned for a brand new flashy site! If you didn’t join this week’s Scavenger Hunt but want to join us next week, then scroll down all the way to the bottom for your list.

The rules are simple:
    • Anyone can participate.
    • You’re encouraged to take five new photos this week for the challenge. Creativity is also encouraged!
    • If you get stumped, you may use one photo from your archive (although I’m not too strict about it – I do my best to take fresh shots).
    • Link up here on Sunday (or Tuesday at the latest) – you can use the button above.
    • Leave comments for at least five entries around yours (with so many new participants each week, it’s the only way I know to be inclusive
    • Have fun!

Without further discussion…here are my interpretations this week:

1. Monday

Pullen Park 04-15 RS_30
On Monday, we went to Pullen Park with Felicity’s grandma (aka Debbie) and cousin, Logan (aka LOLO). They had a BLAST! In addition to the usual mom prep bag, we brought along their bubble guns. These bad boys are worth every penny if you can find them (about $10).

2. Peace

Felicity doesn’t necessarily like a lot of chaos. She prefers a quiet afternoon outside with a paint brush. And if she’s happy…that’s a PEACEful afternoon for me!

3. Letters

IMG_1767 blog Yesterday, we took a little walking tour around NC State’s campus. One of our stops was at the Free Expression Tunnel. Lots of “letters” there.

4. Yellow

The pollen is in full effect right now. SOOOO much yellow. There was also some yellow amongst the flowers.

5. What I’m Listening To

IMG_1782 RS
Another one of our stops while at NC State’s campus was the sound domes by D.H. Hill library. There are 2 of them…and if you sit in them, you can hear the person speaking from the other dome. I forget what they are actually called, but we were encouraging Felicity to listen for the little girl sitting in the other dome. She wasn’t so sure about it.

So, what were your interpretations of the items this week? Be sure to load your pictures on your blog (or your Flickr photostream) and link up at the bottom of this post. Feel free to grab a button to display on your blog along with your scavenger hunt items. The linky will be open until Tuesday night at midnight (EST). If you didn’t participate this week, here’s next week’s list…provided by the Bethadilly Challenge.

    • 1. From Above
    • 2. Drink of Choice
    • 3. Jewelry
    • 4. Local
    • 5. I Found This

On another note, if you’d like to contribute items to the list, just send me an email with your suggestions (I can better keep track of them this way). Each week, I will select one reader’s prompt list and give the selected reader a shout out on my blog during Scavenger Hunt Sunday.

Happy Shooting!
