While serving “jury duty,” I did not have my camera on me. Downtown Durham is not exactly the safest of places, and I thought that the taking pictures of people in the waiting room or even around the courthouse might be frowned upon. Am I the only one that is completely over winter? It’s really interfering with my creativity mojo. That…and I allowed myself to get even further behind on my blogging. HOWEVER, I have been busy completing my “wedding reception” processing this week, so a blogging break was needed. I do think the prompts this week were slightly less intimidating. What do you think? Thank goodness it’s FRIDAY!!! Even with an ice day (because we didn’t get much snow), I feel like this week has really been a drag. But enough of my complaining.  I thought I’d share another photo from the shots I took on Saturday when we received a “touch of snow.” I followed my exact steps from yesterday’s edit and I’m really loving this recipe. My only regret was that I didn’t take a true macro shot of the snow. It was coming down in pellets vs. flakes…and it was melting as quickly as it came down so I was lucky to get a shot at all....

Last month, I photographed one of my new ornaments (you can see that photograph here). I’m not sure exactly what these ornaments are called, but I bought five of them to use as table decor in my dining room (you can the entire display here). Anyways…I got off work early yesterday and came home to some incredible sun.
