Welcome Baby Zan: Newborn Sneak Peek

September 02, 2011
This past weekend, after Hurricane Irene blew through, I met up with Baby Zan. At only eight days old, he’s already experienced an earthquake and a hurricane, so we know he’s going to be a strong young man one day.Zan’s mother and I went to high school together. The mushrooms had multiplied! In fact, you’re going to see more mushrooms in the Scavenger Hunt because even more of them sprouted up a few days later.  And as interesting as...
The Rest of the Story

August 12, 2011
Linking up with Hallie Westcott for 50mm Friday. On Wednesday, I posted the photo on the left with the message, “It’s all fun and games…until somebody gets hurts.” Then, I left you hanging. Unfortunately, I don’t have a photographic record of the “getting hurt part,” but I do have a story. So you all know by now that our niece came to visit us last weekend. Seven year olds have an endless amount of energy…so, we thought we better come prepared with plenty of activities. We started by hitting up Frankie’s Fun Park on Friday afternoon. I had a...
