This week’s I Heart Faces theme is ORANGE. Most of you saw this photo last week when I shared a sneak peak of my Halloween Portrait Session with my friends Emma, Frances and Caroline. I really love this picture of Caroline wearing a lion costume…and she’s wearing yellow and ORANGE tights. Apparently, I’m not the only one who loved this photo because it won #1 Photo at Shutter Love Tuesday and Show Yourself Thursday. For that very reason, I thought it was only appropriate to share this photo one more time at I Heart Faces. For more ORANGE photos, go to: Thanks again to...

On Saturday, I visited with my friend Karen and her girls. You may remember the session I did with them in September. Apparently, she loved what I did so much, that she asked me if I would come over to capture the girls all dressed up for Halloween. She even paid me with a slice of sweet potato/spice cake. My Grandma, wearing her Tarheel Blue jacket on Sunday, was quick to tell me that they won! The last time I took photos at...

As you can see, we don’t carve our pumpkins…instead, my mom sent me a big...

Kitty Paw was not “physically” harmed in the making of this interview and photo shoot (emotionally…maybe). I love having Kitty Paw in my life. I adopted her from my parents about six years ago when I felt as though she wasn’t given enough attention at my parents house (at the time they had two indoor dogs, two outdoor dogs and another cat – they’re down to just two indoor dogs now). Kitty Paw is clearly “only child” material. Anyways, for those of you that don’t live with a cat (notice…I’m choosing my words carefully...
